Kenyon Zimmer earned his Ph.D. in History from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010, and is currently an Associate Professor of History at the University of Texas at Arlington. He researches and teaches courses on transnational migration, labor, and radicalism. His publications focus in particular on the history of the global anarchist movement, the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), political repression, and illegal border crossings. He is currently writing a book about the political deportees of America’s First Red Scare.
